Eco Trek Tours is back for its second tour season and has many tours to offer the school districts of Burnaby, Vancouver, North Vancouver, and West Vancouver! The tours are for grades four through twelve, and each tour is designed to meet the Prescribed Learning Outcomes for at least one grade level. We invite you to look through our Spring program and select the one that corresponds to your schedule and curricular needs. Tours will be booked on a first come first serve basis.

In the event that teachers are interested in tours for which the tour is not designed, modifications can be made upon request. Teachers will have to adapt teaching package materials to meet their students' learning requirements. Eco Trek plans to adapt all tours to all grade levels in the near future.

Tour prices include the following:
Complete trip logistics planning

Roundtrip transportation in Eco Trek’s big green bus

A qualified environmental educator to lead games and generate discussion

Teaching packages with background information and pre- and post-tour lesson plans and activities

Take home packages for students to share with their families

Tours are intended for groups of 30 students. Full-day tours are $550 and Half-day tours are $450. Please consider the additional cost for a TOC, if necessary.

* We tailor our tours to fit the needs of the students. If you have a suggestion on our tours, we would be happy to work with you to improve our organization
* Private, custom made tours are available. If you would like to book a special field trip idea, you may book the bus and/or environmental educator.


Booking

Tours are booked on a first come first serve basis

Once the tour is confirmed, you will receive an electronic package that includes:

    •     Waiver forms

    •     Letters to the parents

    •     What to bring

    •     Background information and Lessons plans to prepare the students for the field trip

    •     A tour itinerary

    •     Field trip rules

    •     Information about all the tour stops



Cancellation Policy: We require a two week notice for cancellation. Failure to do so may subject classes to 50% of the tour cost and may loose their schools booking privileges for the school year.

Custom Tours: If you have a great field trip idea and require transportation or an environmental educator, please contact the office to make arrangements.

Other Transportation: EcoTrek Tours would like to work with your school for all environmental field trips. For other transportation needs (shuttle to sports games, multi-day field trips, et) please contact West Trek Tours www.westtrek.com
