Suggested for Grade 8 (Science: Water Systems on Earth, Hydraulics & Fluids)
The amount of fresh water available is depleting rapidly. Only 2.5% of the earth’s water is potable and Canada holds 9% of it. The issue is becoming increasingly politicized and this topic has never been more important than now. Students will have the opportunity to visit watersheds and filtrations systems first hand to see how our water is handled.
